2010-04-14 Call for proposals

(The call for proposals has been closed)

Proposals should cover most exciting developments in contemporary neuroscience.

Symposia are 2-hour sessions with 3 or 4 speakers. Please note that we cannot provide subsidies for symposia. This means that all symposium speakers need to cover their expenses and pay the appropriate registration fee. The organizers of selected symposia receive a registration fee waiver and are free to raise funding from third parties for their symposia.

Proposals should include a title, the names and affiliations of the symposium organizer, of 4 speakers and the topics/titles of the specific contributions. The symposium organizer may be one of the speakers. Furthermore, a written commitment for participation under the specified conditions from all speakers or from the organizer on behalf of all speakers is required.

Please submit symposium proposals to until August 10th, 2010.

Symposia will be selected by the programme committee until end of August, 2010. Speakers of selected symposia are required to submit an abstract of their presentation. Some of the proposals, if of high quality but reflect more focused or specialized topics may be selected for "special interest sessions" which are slots of 1,5 hrs duration before and after lunch time.

Please note that if not included in an oral session any individual participant may submit and present one poster on any topic in neurosciences.
